When discussing what he wanted for dinner this week, he said he hadnt had a kebab for ages (to which I replied neither had I) and along came a debate about having a kebab for tea.
Rather than go to the take away for one, I decided to make my own ... which I will be serving up for tea tonight.
I have chopped two healthy living chicken breasts into bite size pieces and left in a bowl in the fridge over night with slices of fresh garlic, jerk seasoning and some chopped chillis (tip with chilli's ... get your fresh chilli's and crush up with a pestle and mortar, and then freeze as a paste, when making dishes that need some chillies adding, break some off and add them directly from the freezer)
I will fry the chicken up in a little oil, with a chopped medium onion and when cooked, serve on a naan bread with lettuce and tomato, and some mayonaise.
I will let you know how it goes down .....
